Carrier Oils and Other Ingredients
Fractionated Coconut OilThis type of coconut oil stays liquid at room temperature. It is my carrier oil of choice for most roller bottles and capsules. |

Coconut OilThis type of coconut oil is solid at cooler temperatures but melts on contact with skin. I use it in my balm, butter and lotion recipes. |

Jojoba OilJojoba oil is a nice carrier oil for most facial care and hair products. I use this as my facial “cleanser.” |

Cocoa ButterThis cocoa butter has been deodorized which means that the natural chocolate-y scent won’t overpower the essential oil aromas of your body butters or lotions. |

Shea ButterShea butter is rich and moisturizing, making it the base of choice for most body butters and lotions. |
  |
BeeswaxUsing beeswax pellets makes it easier to measure when doubling or halving recipes. |
  |
Alcohol-free Witch HazelI like alcohol-free witch hazel for the Thieves spray I keep in my handbag. I feel confident using it on my toddler’s skin. |

Epsom SaltsThis is premium Epsom salt that dissolves quickly and easily in water. |
  |
Rosehip OilRosehip oil is a lovely carrier oil for daytime serums. It is a slightly “dry” oil and leaves very little shine. |
